Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Khalid Shameem Wynne called on President Asif Ali Zardari and and discussed regional and national security issues with him.
According to sources, the meeting lasted for quite a while in which both the heads discussed matters relating to professional aspects of Armed Forces, operational readiness and other relevant issues in length.

President told Joint Chief of Staff Committee General Khalid Shamim Wynne that despite limited resources, Armed Forces of Pakistan will be provided maximum facilities.
He said undoubtedly the sacrifices of Armed Forces are invulnerable and its role in countering menace of terrorism and extremism is highly laudable in this regard.
