ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Punjab and Islamabad with chances of rain/thundershower at isolated places of Multan division during next 24 hours. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan with its trough extending southeast wards according to the synoptic situation.
Weak monsoon currents are still penetrating into upper and central parts of the country.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts, however, rain/thundershower is likely at isolated places of D I Khan division during next 24 hours.
Mainly hot and humid weather is also expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan during next 24 hours, however, rain/thundershower is likely at isolated places of Zhob, Kalat and Sibbi divisions during next 24 hours.
Mostly partly cloudy weather is expected with chances of rain/thundershower at isolated places of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
The rainfall recorded during last 24 hours was: Sibbi 57 mm, Kakul 23 mm, Gupis 19 mm, Bahawalnagar 18 mm, Bunji and Malamjabba 5 mm, Hunza, Gilgit, Sialkot and Mohenjodaro 3 mm each.
